Terms and conditions
Please read carefully the booking rules below.
These conditions govern the contracts for the stay and use of the rooms of the Duomo Luxury Suites hotel (hereinafter: The Hotel) and for any additional services provided by the Hotel.
The confirmed booking has the value of acceptance of the contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for the person making the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned therein, including minors.
Children under 18 can only be accommodated if accompanied by an adult manager who stays within the structure.
Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise agreed, the hotel rooms are available on the day of arrival from 12.00 (check-in) and must be vacated by 10.30 on the day of departure (check-out). The Hotel reserves the right to collect a penalty due to the delayed release of the room.
Check-in is available until 23:00 but for arrivals after 19:00 there is a surcharge of EUR 10.00 to be paid in cash.
Prices and payment
The prices displayed on the site include VAT.
The customer making a reservation agrees to pay the agreed price for the accommodation, including any applicable extra costs and taxes, and the services requested even if performed by third parties.
Price errors and typos are not binding and the reservation may be canceled by the Hotel with a refund of any amounts already paid.
The Hotel accepts the following payment methods:
- bank transfer (to be paid within 7 days of arrival for the standard rate and within 3 days of booking for the non-refundable rate)
- credit / debit card
- pre-authorization on card with payment at the hotel
Failure to pay may result in the hotel canceling the reservation.
Tourist taxes and any extras must be paid before departure.
Complaints relating to the bill of the stay must be reported immediately to the Hotel.
Children over 15 years pay the adult rate and stay in an available bed in the room.
Children between 11 and 14 years of age pay a surcharge of EUR 30.00 per night when staying in an available bed.
Children between 6 and 10 years of age pay a surcharge of EUR 20.00 per night when staying in an available bed.
Children between 2 and 5 years of age pay a surcharge of EUR 10.00 per night when staying in an available bed.
Children under 2 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ bed, or pay EUR 10.00 per night in a cot.
The maximum number of cots allowed in the room varies according to the booked room.
The cot is available upon request and subject to confirmation by the Hotel. The customer is required to ask for confirmation before making the reservation. Supplements are not included in the total amount of the stay and must be paid separately at the hotel.
It is not possible to add extra beds.
Cancellation by the hotel
The Hotel has the right to withdraw from the contract if the deposit or balance is not made within the agreed term.
The Hotel is authorized to withdraw from the contract for justified reasons, including (and not limited to):
- causes of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the control of the Hotel that make it impossible to fulfill the contract;
- booking made with misleading or false information;
- if the client’s stay can damage the functioning, safety or reputation of the Hotel
The Hotel has the duty to inform the customer of the decision. In case of justified cancellation, the customer will not be able to claim damages.
Cancellation by the customer, no show, early departure =
Some of the offers include non-refundable rates, the customer is required to check the payment conditions during the booking procedure.
The customer must submit his request for cancellation by contacting the Hotel within a reasonable time for the management of his request.
Requests made before seven (7) days of arrival provide for a full refund without the payment of penalties.
For cancellations made between the seventh (7) day before arrival and the arrival itself, or in the event of a no show (the customer does not arrive and does not cancel the booking), the refund is 50% of the total price established.
In case of partial cancellations (cancellation of a part of the booked rooms), the refund percentage refers only to the price set for the booked rooms.
In case of delayed arrival the total price established must be paid.
In case of early departure, there are no refunds for the remaining unused period.
If only one deposit has been paid, the refund percentage refers to the total price set.
For non-refundable rates there are no refunds in case of modification, cancellation or no show.
The stay packages are all offered in a non-refundable formula and therefore do not provide for any refund or return, regardless of the notice period.
Responsibility of the Hotel
There is no compensation for damages, regardless of the legal reason, unless the Hotel has acted maliciously. The Hotel assumes responsibility for the violation of contractual obligations resulting from its own negligence or that of its legal representatives or employees. Liability is in all cases limited to the foreseeable damage and related to the contract.
The Hotel declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure. Furthermore, we decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, by atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases or theft.
The Hotel is not responsible for inconvenience caused by cancellations, or other problems of various kinds, of the services offered by third parties and booked through the Hotel.
Responsibility of the customer
The customer is responsible for damage to buildings and / or inventory caused by himself, his family, his guests or pets, in accordance with the provisions of the law. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain sufficient insurance for such liability cases.
It is not allowed to organize parties / events inside the rooms.
The overnight stay of a guest not reported to the Hotel is prohibited.
The customer making the booking is responsible for the actions and behaviors of all group members.
It is the attention of the customer who makes the reservation to obtain the consent of the other guests before providing their personal data.
Changes or additions to the contract must be made in writing.
Written communications are considered delivered on the third day after shipment to the last known address. When communicating by e-mail, the confirmation of receipt is valid as proof of delivery.
Italian law applies.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is no longer valid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In place of the ineffective provision, the closest possible provision will be applied. The same applies to contractual gaps. In addition, the statutory provisions apply.
